Privacy Policy — WatchDraw

WatchDraw is a drawing app for Wear OS (Galaxy Watch). This policy describes what data the app collects, how it is used, and what your rights are. By using the app, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Data we collect

WatchDraw works without an account. Signing in with a Google Account is optional and available on the Settings screen. When you choose to sign in with Google, we receive the following information about your account from Google's sign-in service:

• Display name;
• Email address;
• Profile photo (your Google account image).

This data is used only to show who is signed in on the profile screen, on the watch itself. We do not request access to contacts, location, messages, or any other data from your account.

2. Your drawings

All the drawings you create (including Favorites and Trash) are stored locally on your device, in the app's private storage. They are not uploaded to our servers — we do not operate any server that stores your drawings. Images you choose to export ("Download") are saved to your device's own gallery, by your action.

3. Saving drawings to your Google Photos

If you are signed in with a Google Account, tapping "Download" on a drawing also uploads that single image to your own Google Photos library, so you can view and share it on your phone. This happens only for drawings you explicitly export, and only while you are signed in.

• The upload uses the Google Photos photoslibrary.appendonly permission, which lets the app add images it creates to your library. The app cannot read, browse, or access the photos already in your Google Photos.
• The images go to your Google account — we do not receive a copy and have no server that stores them.
• If the watch is offline, the export is queued on the device and uploaded later when a connection is available (or when you tap "Sync Now").
• If you are not signed in, nothing is uploaded — drawings stay only on the device.

4. How we use the data

• Authenticate you via Google Sign-In (when you choose to sign in);
• Display your name, email, and photo on the profile screen;
• Keep your session active across app restarts;
• Upload drawings you export to your own Google Photos (when signed in).

We do not use your data for advertising, nor do we sell it to third parties.

5. Sharing

We do not share your personal data with third parties. Authentication and the Google Photos upload are handled by Google's services (Google Play Services / Google Sign-In / Google Photos), subject to the Google Privacy Policy.

6. Retention and deletion

• Your Google account data is available in the app only while you are signed in. When you tap Logout, the session ends and this data is no longer used by the app.
• The Reset All option (Settings) permanently deletes all drawings stored on the device, including any that were still waiting to be uploaded.
• Drawings already uploaded to your Google Photos live in your own Google account; you can delete them at any time from the Google Photos app, like any other photo.
• Uninstalling the app removes all local data associated with it.

7. Security

Data is kept in the app's private storage, protected by the Android system. The sign-in session is managed by Google Play Services, and uploads to Google Photos are sent over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection.

8. Children

WatchDraw is not intended for children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from such children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top indicates the current version.
